Snapchat Has A New Ad Campaign Available

Keeping the momentum alive is a follow up to a strong business performance
Snapchat closed the second quarter of 2021 with a whopping revenue increase of 116%. So, they are keeping the momentum by launching a new global ad campaign to encourage more users.
The new campaign, as shown in the video above available on Youtube, highlights the app's constantly developing AR (augmented reality) features.
AR has been Snapchat's main attraction for the longest time - and they are not planning to stop anytime soon.
Snapchat Lenses went viral and enabled non-users to check it out. More people were amazed and satisfied with the results of its face-changing tools. Although other apps such as TikTok tried to ride the bandwagon, users still favor Snapchat.
Users download Snapchat and use it to make videos then upload these videos on TikTok instead of using TikTok's own AR effects.
According to Snapchat, “Open Your Snapchat is an invitation for consumers and advertisers to fully dive into AR, unlocking hundreds of custom experiences localized to each market. The campaign will blanket billboards, buses, websites, and everything in between in numerous major cities across the globe."
This ad campaign will run around the world starting in the US, UK, and Mexico then it’ll expand to India - a key growth region for the app.
Snapchat further said, “The campaign will feature extensive OOH and digital placements that will include Snapcodes, revealing hundreds of custom creative and AR Lenses that will be largely specific to each city. Major cities include Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Minneapolis, Mumbai, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Orlando, and Tampa."
Snapchat’s aim to broaden its reach and solidify its audience base will heavily rely on its state-of-the-art AR tools.
Now that the hype is high on AR, it’s also the right time to push it through for Snapchat.
